Buying a new-build? Snagging inspections

New homes often come with faults: poor finishing, sticking doors, missing sealant, leaks and worse. A snagging inspection is a room-by-room check before or just after you move in, with a written, photographed list you can hand to the builder.

I've spent years on housing repairs, so I know where builders cut corners. Ask for a quote.

About me

I'm Wayne. I live in Chesterfield and I've worked in housing repairs around Derbyshire for years. Outside work, I've always been the one who builds the computers, sets up the smart home kit and sorts out the family's tech.

I'm 60, so I know how frustrating it is when gadgets don't do what they say on the box. I'll go at your pace, explain things in plain English, and never sell you something you don't need.

DBS checked and fully insured.

How it works

  1. Get in touch by phone, text, WhatsApp or email and tell me what's wrong.
  2. We agree a time that suits you. I'm available on Saturdays and some weekday evenings.
  3. I visit and sort it, and leave you simple written notes if you'd like them.
  4. You pay afterwards by cash, card or bank transfer.
